Sometimes discovering what is inside the wood can be difficult.  This knot had potential but the project included several months of contemplation before the turning process started.  In the end, as you can see from the two “after" photos, it was well worth the challenge.  The woman that commissioned this piece was pleased with the results.  As was I.
